Hot Summer News OCN NI freezes Prices

featuredpostimagetest

Brendan Clarke CEO of OCN NI, a leading Northern Ireland based Awarding Organisation, comments “all of our stakeholders, providers and learners are facing a tough year ahead. It is important they know we understand and appreciate the pressures they face during this time of economic and political uncertainty. We are committed to supporting our providers and learners by capping our fees at last year’s levels, as we strongly believe this is the right and proper thing to do in these difficult times.”

Patricia Short, Business Development Manager, noted this is an unprecedented time of change and uncertainty and OCN NI aims to reduce the pressure by committing to deliver our top class service during 2010-2011 at the same price 2009-2010. This will be a challenge as current inflation figures are running around 3.7% so in effect this is a price cut. However, we will continue to invest in new products, new resources and develop innovative Internet based learning tools. OCNNI is determined to play our part in supporting our learning providers to support their learners by lobbying those in our community with influence and interest in lifelong learning for everyone.
